hmh my fav is tyrion. i don't know why, but i just like him. of course i have many others... actually all chatacters (except humsin )

Tabaluga, of course, he's my hero from that i have 7 years...

She's a snake, mentioned in the episode "Queen for one day" of season number 1 of the Tabaluga cartoon and also in "Tabaluga and the Shining Silence"

Shouhu. I often enjoy his wisdom and witty sense of humour. I also admire his patients during his imprisonment by Arktos.

exactly! this is one of MANY reasons, why I love season one so much better than seasons 2 and 3

So I agree, Shouhu is definitely one of my favorite characters

No love for James? Oh come on, you have to feel sorry for him being a yesman and having to put up with Arktos's whining and demands (plus he's a penguin butler. Best form of anthropomorphism in the story, well at least I think so).

Nobody said we don't like him, I personally, like his style of speaking, and think that overall it was a great idea of the creators to include such a character
My favorite episode with him in in season 1 where he becomes friends with Tabaluga and others, changes, at least for a while, to good side
And, personally, I think his design is best in season 1, since season 2 he became... kinda fat

My favorite character is Arktos, but I also love James. He's evil but at the same time he has a good heart (he cares for his nephews, for instance). Despite having the worst master in the world, he always manages to stay calm (if he doesn't he gets in freezing danger). And the idea of a penguin butler was awesome. James always reminds me of Edgar, the butler from The Aristocats. Doesn't Edgar look a bit fatty and create evil plans too?
Arktos is my top favorite, but James comes straight after him!

Can't agree with that a bit. And what does it mean being evil and having a good heart? true evil doesn't have a heart(Arktos) and James is just an incredibly loyal servant, who does everything to please his master, I just think he was taught to do it since childhood, and he became obsessed with never betraying, and always caring for his master, no matter how evil he is. The episode "Mister nice guy" showed that James is really nice, when he isn't influenced by Arktos

I think that he can be nice. We see his kindess in his tolerance towards Arktos and other iceworlders. He just wants to be loyal to Arktos and serve as his faithful butler. I also think this is done to fill the sterotype of the whole "loyal to the master" image.

I think I made a mistake... what I actually meant was that James is evil because he acts evil, but deep inside he has a good heart. If it weren't for Arktos, James wouldn't act evil, because being mean is not in his nature (unlike Arktos, which really is evil). At least that's what I think

My favourite will be Shouhu besides the Tabalugas. Shouhu is another kind of brave and always have some good ideas, sometimes alone, sometimes working with Nassaja, to help Tabaluga out of troubles. This kind of charactor is really important in the whole story or even in the real life.
