How old did you were, when you discovered Tabaluga?
How old were you?
I'm really interested how old you were, when you have heard about/seen Tabaluga the first time. Give the age and how you discovered it, please.

Re: How old were you?
I was around 8 when I was watching Cartoon Network (the UK version) and I used to watch every cartoon I bumped into, I liked all of them...then a morning I got up very early (it was around 7:30 am), I don't really remember why, and so to pass time (it was during summer holidays) I began watching tv. And so at 8 am I watched my first episode of the little dragon!
Then I began waking me up at 8:00 every morning just to see it...and woe betide if there was something that didn't allow me to watch it! Every time I missed an episode I began crying and crying...because I had the "fixation" of drawing Arktos and so I wanted to watch the cartoon to see how to draw him, and every time I missed the episode I used to shout, half crying, "I want to see how to draw him!!!" Then I had the fixation for the closing theme tune too, I used to continue listening to the song while I was in the car with my parents (I had recorded it onto my old stereo, and I used to bring the stereo everywhere with me! xD) and sometimes I drove my parents crazy.

Re: How old were you?
Ah, with me was different, the first time that I looked at her was between them ... 17:00 - 18:00, and the second time that they gave (during the weekends) was raising me at 7:30 only to see the series xD
Re: How old were you?
How lucky! *_*
Now I watch it on a german channel, Ki.Ka: it's broadcasted twice per day, at 10:30 am and 5:30 pm, and I watch the episodes every time, trough I don't understand everything xD
Cartoon Network broadcasted just the first serie, the same for the other channels: I had to watch the second and third season on the german channels

Re: How old were you?
i knew a one chase since that you, The only difference is that evnez of studying to understand peter's songs maffay, they were to understand songs of Tokyo Hotel (as I them hate)
Re: How old were you?
Sorry OT...
I listened to a song of Tokio Hotel once and I got enough of it. I don't really like them and think their music is only commercial, just to let music mayors gain money. They consider themselves punk, but...how can they say that?!
Peter Maffay's songs don't cause people to become crazy (I read some letters wrote by Tokio Hotel fans like "Bill I luuuuuuv uuuuuu 2 muuuuch! Tom u r my liiiiifee!" and so on). And I like studying languages in general^^

Re: How old were you?
I was probably about 8 or 9 when i first took notice of episodes appearing on the T.V during the early 00s.
Re: How old were you?
I can't remember the exact year when I first got know of this Tabaluga cartoon. I just know that, one day, when I was watching TV, I couldn't even speak my mother tongue then, there was a figure of a snowman which looks like Arktos, you know it's very impressive to me, exactly as same as what I saw on my computer when I know how to log on to a foreign website.
It is true that such kind of cartoon can seldomly found on the silverscreen in my country. Not until when I was at the third academic year, on my summer vacation of course, I'm lucky enough to have look at the only movie of Tabaluga series, all talking Chinese . If you ask me how much I like Tabaluga, well, I wrote to Chinese government in charge of TV programmes and asked them to play this movie again at Children's Festival so I can watch that with my son (even I don't have any kids). The result is, they didn't reply, but they did play this movie at least for three more times! One is during the Children's Festival at 1st in June. I was very satisfied then.
